Capitol Hotel (2014) nasce come un viaggio introspettivo all’interno di un luogo immaginario, un hotel sospeso tra realtà e simbolo, dove ogni stanza rappresenta un frammento dell’anima.
Dietro ogni porta si nasconde una paura da affrontare, un’emozione da riconoscere, un pensiero da accogliere per poterlo superare.
Questo progetto pittorico racconta la volontà di guardarsi dentro con coraggio, di abitare le proprie ombre e trasformarle, un passo alla volta, stanza dopo stanza.
Il Capitol Hotel diventa così una metafora del percorso umano verso la consapevolezza, dove ogni ambiente è un capitolo di un’evoluzione interiore.
Realizzati in acrilico su tela, i lavori della serie sono costruiti su una scala di grigi ottenuta unicamente mescolando bianco e nero, simboli dello yin e dello yang.
Dalla loro fusione nascono infinite sfumature, come le emozioni che definiscono l’essere umano — un equilibrio fragile e mutevole tra luce e oscurità.
Capitol Hotel è dunque un luogo dell’anima: silenzioso, poetico, inquieto, ma attraversato dal desiderio di conoscersi e, infine, di ritrovarsi.

Capitol Hotel (2014) was born as an introspective journey within an imaginary hotel — a symbolic space where each room represents a fragment of the self.
Behind every door lies a fear to confront, an emotion to acknowledge, a thought to accept in order to move forward.
This body of work speaks of the courage to look inward, to inhabit one’s shadows and transform them, step by step, room after room.
The hotel becomes a metaphor for the human path toward self-awareness, each space marking a stage in an inner evolution.
Painted in acrylic on canvas, the works are composed entirely of shades of grey, created solely from black and white — symbols of yin and yang.
From their fusion emerge countless nuances, like the emotional spectrum that defines the human experience — a delicate balance between light and darkness.
Capitol Hotel is, ultimately, a place of the soul: silent, poetic, and restless, yet illuminated by the will to understand and to be reborn.
